Rocky Creek Metallurgical Coal Project Atmospheric Baseline Study

Rocky Creek

Viterstream worked with Environmental Dynamics Inc (EDI) in the development of an atmospheric baseline study for the Rocky Creek Coal Project, on behalf of CTI Plus Resources Ltd. (see https://ctiplusresources.com/rocky-creek-metallurgical-coal-project/).

The baseline work was developed in support of an environmental impact assessment of the planned mine, approximately 47 km southwest of Chetwynd, BC. Two meteorological monitoring stations were established, a continuous particulate matter (PM) station, 4 dustfall monitoring stations and 3 noise monitoring stations.

Viterstream worked with EDI staff to plan the monitoring sites, select monitoring equipment, establish the monitoring stations and develop standard operating procedures for field staff. Additional responsibilities included data review and regulatory engagement as well as preparation of baseline reporting materials (atmospheric).
