Industrial or commercial facilities may require a permit or authorization (registration), depending on the type and size (kW) of their emission sources.

Real-time and historical air quality and meteorological data are available from multiple stations across BC and throughout Canada. These data allow the public to access information on air quality in their communities and enable air quality practitioners to evaluate compliance with health-based standards.
